Zhu Baofu, Ph.D., is a professor and master's supervisor specializing in cosmetic science, natural product chemistry, and supramolecular drug delivery. His research primarily focuses on the extraction, separation, structural modification, and functional application of natural active ingredients, with additional expertise in the self-assembly of supramolecular compounds driven by weak intermolecular interactions. He investigates how these self-assembled systems can be engineered for advanced drug delivery and controlled-release applications, contributing to innovation at the interface of pharmacy, cosmetics, and biomaterials. He has published more than 20 SCI-indexed research articles, secured three invention patents, and led ten scientific research projects funded at provincial and ministerial levels.
