Prof. Dr. Sinan Başçeken is a distinguished Turkish chemist recognized for his contributions to organic synthesis, catalysis, and advanced chemical methodology. He completed his foundational education in chemistry at Mersin University before advancing to the University of Paderborn, where he pursued both master’s and doctoral research that explored gas–liquid mass transfer phenomena and the preparative potential of novel chiral biaryl transition-metal catalysts.
