Junxing Han embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree from Hebei Normal University, where he developed a novel organometallic reduction method to convert D-(-)-α-phenylglycine to R-(-)-2-phenylglycinol. He continued his studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master's degree under the supervision of Professors Yanqin Liu and Shitian Han, where he synthesized various anticancer compounds and conducted successful cytotoxicity tests.

Han's professional career is marked by several prestigious positions. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2012 to 2015.
