Dr. Umank Mishra's journey in civil engineering began with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from BIT Durg, Pt. RSSU, Raipur, India, completed in 2008. He continued his academic advancement with a Master's (M.Tech.) and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi. His Ph.D. research focused on the optimal design of riprap stone riveted earthen channels, an investigation addressing gaps in literature regarding cost-effective and performance-optimized canal designs.
