Prof. Yongbo Li is a distinguished researcher specializing in environmental economics, sustainable development, and green behavior policy analysis. His work focuses on promoting eco-friendly practices among urban residents and industries through data-driven economic modeling and behavioral experimentation. He has successfully led multiple national and regional research projects, including studies on urban green travel guidance, water-saving behavior strategies, emission reduction in China’s oil industry, and transformation dynamics of regional economic growth. Prof. Li’s investigations have provided strategic insights into low-carbon development and sustainable industrial transformation, particularly under China’s evolving carbon emission trading mechanisms. His consultancy work extends to national enterprises and government bodies, contributing to energy conservation, emission reduction, and financial planning initiatives such as the “15th Five-Year Financial Plan for Qingdao Huangdao District” and the “Industrial Energy Conservation Model for the Yellow River Delta.” His recent publications in high-impact journals like Journal of Cleaner Production and Annals of Operations Research highlight his contributions to sustainable manufacturing and behavioral economics in environmental management.
