Prof. Maciej Niedzwiecki | Robust Signal Processing | Best Academic Researcher Award
Gdansk University of Technology | Poland
Maciej Niedzwiecki is a distinguished professor and head of the department of automatic control at
the faculty of electronics, telecommunications and computer science of Gdańsk University of Technology.
He earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology (both with honours)
and later obtained his habilitation in automatic control and robotics from the Technical University of Warsaw;
he holds the scientific title of professor of technical sciences. His work focuses on identification of
non-stationary processes and applications in adaptive signal processing and adaptive control, with
contributions to audio restoration, dynamic weighing of vehicles, navigation systems for the blind,
biomedical data analysis and more.
