Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Faculty of Medicine, Kagoshima University | Japan

Hiroaki Kobayashi, M.D., Ph.D. is a leading figure in gynecologic oncology, currently serving as Professor and Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Kagoshima University (also Professor in the Course of Advanced Cancer Medicine for Gynecologic Cancer). His clinical expertise encompasses robot-assisted surgery, chemotherapy including molecular targeted agents, and translational research such as comprehensive genomic profiling and drug delivery systems. Educated at Kyushu University, with post-doctoral training in Canada, he has held senior academic positions across Japan, including roles directing robotic surgery centres and genetic counselling. He is deeply involved in professional societies in Japan and abroad, particularly those focused on gynecologic oncology and robotic surgery. According to institutional and bibliographic sources, he has authored approximately 248 published papers. The exact h-index and total citation count were not publicly confirmed in reliable sources as of the latest update. Nevertheless, his publication record shows consistent productivity with multiple highly cited works in top journals in his field, reflecting strong influence in gynecologic cancer research.
